In this case, client worked with a cherry-picker machine to access high level shelves at a factory. There, he would frequently lift heavy boxes and put them on a pallet. He would also unload them, when he got down to floor level. This heavy repetitive lifting caused low back, “disk” problems which resulted in surgery, called a “hemilaminectomy”. A laminectomy includes removal of parts of the vertebrae to relieve pressure on a pinched nerve.
